Welcome to the House Blue Flames Onboarding Guide.
This page provides prospects with information to navigate our current onboarding process.
As we prepare for the House’s intensive Rebuilding and Restructuring Program, a select group of prospects will have the opportunity to help shape the next era of our mission, structure, and purpose. Although our origins appear to trace back to the BDSM and Leather Culture communities, the lineage of House Blue Flames is not BDSM or Leather; it goes much further back than the origins of the Leather culture or the formulation of BDSM as a coverage of kink and fetishes.
Today, we take our rightful place adjacent to that Afro-Diasporic culture as a House of Purpose that is Black-Owned, Black-Only, and a Chosen Family, grounded in the principles, covenants, and teachings of the Codex of the Blue Flames. The foundations of the Codex has emerged from an Afro-Diasporic tradition of ethical authority transfer, which now guides our disciplined multi-servant hierarchy, with structural integrity, accountability, functional service, and our participation in ethical power exchange.
This onboarding experience reflects the standards required to function successfully within this household. If you have been invited or have answered the call, you are being considered for a foundational role at a pivotal moment in our history. Your progression through these steps will demonstrate your readiness, emotional stability, clarity of purpose, and ability to operate within a structured authority-based system.
Your participation in the process will determine your eligibility to join the first cohort of pioneers at the start of the Rebuilding and Restructuring Program.
Approach this House and each onboarding phase with honesty, discipline, and the intentionality that defines your character and core values.
Each step must be completed in order.
Consistency, clarity, and accountability are required throughout the process.
This first step requires completion of the Membership Application Form, which also serves as an official Letter of Intent for Membership. This step does not relieve the prospect of their obligation to conduct their own vetting of House Leadership. The application provides leadership with a clear understanding of your identity, motivations, desired role, and readiness to function within a structured authority-transfer household. Your application establishes your intent and expresses the deeper reasoning behind your interest, your alignment with the House, and your capacity for disciplined participation.
All prospects must undergo mandatory checks through the National Sex Offender Public Website (NSOPW) and the Domestic Violence Registry (DVR). Only prospects who clear both screenings may continue. This step protects the integrity and safety of the House.
Before entering any internal conversations or evaluation stages, you must review and sign the NDA/NCA. This agreement protects the confidentiality of House operations, internal protocols, intellectual property, and the privacy of all members. Signing indicates your willingness to uphold the House's ethical and structural expectations.
The RBAA evaluates your behavioral patterns, emotional regulation, accountability habits, and readiness for authority-transfer and power-exchange culture. Your results determine your initial qualification tier and guide how leadership supports or evaluates your progression.
First Qualification Tier based on the RBAA:
This interview provides clarity on House expectations and allows leadership to evaluate your communication style, emotional stability, containment capacity, hierarchical alignment, and overall readiness. The session ensures mutual understanding and confirms suitability for advancing within the household structure.
Leadership conducts a complete evaluation of your Membership Application, NDA/NCA, RBAA results, interview performance, and safety screening results. This step determines your final qualification tier and ensures that all who advance are aligned, grounded, and prepared to function within a structured authority-based family system.
Second Qualification Tier:
• Tiers 1–3: Advance to Orientation
• Tiers 4–6: Disqualification
If accepted, you will receive a formal Acceptance Notification outlining your assigned functional role, expectations, communication protocols, and next steps. This confirms your status within the House and prepares you for structured onboarding.
Orientation provides the foundational standards for operating within House Blue Flames. You will learn the basics of House hierarchy, accountability expectations, containment protocols, communication systems, and an overview of the guiding principles of the Codex of the Blue Flames. This phase establishes clarity, fluency, and alignment.
New members enter a supervised integration period within the Rebuilding and Restructuring Program. You will receive assigned responsibilities, guidance, and scheduled check-ins. This stage evaluates your consistency, adaptability, and ability to function under structure while contributing to the rebuilding of the House.
As you demonstrate reliability, emotional stability, discipline, and alignment with House expectations, leadership will formally confirm your standing. This milestone acknowledges your readiness to serve as a contributing member of the household.
Structural Fluency Training builds upon the orientation information and provides a deeper dive into the foundational standards required to operate within House Blue Flames. You will learn more about House hierarchy, accountability expectations, containment protocols, communication systems, and the guiding principles of the Codex of the Blue Flames. This phase lays the foundation for fluency and alignment.
Your induction takes place at a mandatory in-person House gathering. This ceremony marks your transition from provisional member to full House Member, affirming your commitment, alignment, and integration into the mission, structure, and culture defined by the Codex of the Blue Flames.
